Why This Machine Determines Your Pallet Quality
The Physics of Structural Integrity
The hydraulic hot press is not just a molding tool—it is the hub where wood fibers and MDI resin undergo an irreversible chemical curing process. With a heavy-duty Q345B steel frame (stress-relief annealed) enforcing a mold parallel tolerance of ≤0.05mm/m under 1000 tons of force, your pallet receives uniform density in every corner. No weak spots, no premature breakage under heavy loads.
What A Premium Press Delivers
- Single-cycle pallet formation (no nailing, no assembly)
- Partitioned temperature control (±5°C uniform heating)
- Servo-driven efficiency (near-zero power draw during dwell time)
- Flexible sizing (change molds within 2-4 hours to switch specs)

Core System Components Breakdown
1Heavy-Duty Frame (Q345B Steel)
The four-column structural frame is precisely welded from Q345B industrial steel and undergoes complete stress-relief annealing. This prevents frame deformation over years of high-pressure cyclic loading.
2Servo Hydraulic System
Replaces old constant-displacement pumps. By dynamically matching motor RPM and pump displacement to real-time pressure needs, it cuts electricity consumption by 40-50% and dramatically reduces hydraulic oil heating.
3Partitioned Heating Platen
Whether using thermal oil or electric heating, the platen features zoned controls to enforce a ±5°C temperature variance across the massive mold surface. Crucial for consistent MDI resin curing.
4PLC Control System
Siemens or Mitsubishi PLC orchestrates the entire “close-press-dwell-open-eject” cycle precisely. Features 4G/WiFi remote diagnostics for rapid troubleshooting without waiting for an onsite engineer.
Key Requirements & Boundaries
When Do You NOT Need This Machine?
- Annual demand is less than 10,000 pallets (Purchasing finished pallets is more economical).
- You have no intention to install auxiliary equipment (Without a dryer and crusher, this press cannot produce anything).
- Your factory ceiling is below 6 meters (There will be no space for mold installation).
- Your industrial power supply cannot provide the required 200kW+ total baseline (including auxiliaries).
Understanding The “Standalone” Myth
The most common mistake buyers make is assuming they only need the hot press to make pallets. The press is merely the final step of a complex material preparation chain.
Your raw wood waste must be precisely crushed to ≤5mm particle size, aggressively dried to 8-12% moisture content, and perfectly blended with MDI resin. Any variance in upstream prep will result in blowout or structurally weak pallets—regardless of how powerful the press is.
