What is the difference between compressed wood pallets and heat-treated wood pallets?
Heat-treated solid wood pallets require IPPC certification and fumigation documentation. Compressed wood pallets are classified as processed wood — outside ISPM 15 — and require only a Material Declaration. No treatment certificate, no IPPC stamp.
