A client in Vietnam set an ambitious goal: to establish a large-scale molded pallet production facility with a target output of 2,000 pallets per day. This project required more than just supplying machinery; it demanded a complete, custom-engineered solution designed to fit a specific factory layout and achieve high-capacity output from day one. This case study details the site-specific design, equipment specification, and power planning for this major industrial installation.
Project Scope and Site-Specific Challenges
The client’s vision was clear and their requirements were specific, forming the foundation of our technical proposal.
- Location: Vietnam.
- Production Target: 2,000 pallets per day.
- Core Equipment: The initial phase required the installation of 12 hydraulic press stations.
- Production Method: A semi-automatic process was chosen, utilizing manual labor for filling the molds and demolding the finished pallets.
- Key Constraint: The entire production line had to be meticulously planned to fit a predefined factory blueprint.
Equipment Specification for Large-Scale Production
Achieving a daily output of 2,000 pallets requires robust, high-capacity machinery. The technical solution includes a total of 48 integrated equipment pieces, centered around a powerful compressed wood pallet machine for each of the 12 stations.
| Stage | Key Equipment | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Material Preparation | Wood Chipper, Wood Crusher, Wood Dryer | Handles initial breakdown of raw wood, pulverizes chips into fine fiber, and ensures optimal moisture content. |
| Mixing | Two High-Efficiency Glue Mixers | Continuously prepare the raw material and MDI glue mixture for the presses. |
| Pressing | Six 1600-Ton Presses, Six 1250-Ton Presses, and Mold Temperature Machines | The core of the operation, where each compressed wood pallet machine molds the final product. |
The Custom-Engineered Factory Layout
Using the client’s architectural diagram, we designed a logical and efficient workflow. The layout is divided into a Raw Material Processing Zone and a Main Production Hall. A 35-meter screw conveyor transports the prepared fiber to the main hall, where it is held in silos before being fed into the glue mixers and distributed to the 12 hydraulic presses, which are arranged in two rows for efficient operation.
Power and Cost Planning
A project of this magnitude requires careful power management. The total installed motor power for the entire production line is calculated to be approximately 1304.5 kW. To safely and efficiently support this load, we recommended the installation of a 1500 KW transformer.
Our Commitment to a Successful Launch
We are committed to ensuring a smooth project launch and long-term operational success through our comprehensive overseas support program, which includes on-site commissioning, operator training, and a joint acceptance process to verify that all equipment performs according to the signed technical agreement.
