The customer scenario: building a new presswood pallet line without a proven process model

Hydraulic press take-out robot automation helps a new presswood pallet producer move from zero-based line modeling to a controlled production route. AutoG removes the need to design a high-temperature, high-pressure unloading method from scratch by coordinating presswood pallet take-out, transfer, stacking, and PLC integration as part of a turnkey line.

Why manual press unloading becomes the bottleneck

The legacy approach is to place operators beside each press. For two presses, this can mean about two take-out workers, followed by manual secondary transfer and stacking. The conditions are demanding: a newly demolded pallet may be around 80°C, the press area is a hazardous zone around 1250–1600 ton equipment, and MDI resin used in hot pressing can generate gas. Manual handling also makes 24-hour production dependent on staffing, training, and operator endurance.

Why AutoG fits the presswood pallet application

AutoG is designed for the press discharge end of a molded wood pallet manufacturing line, not as a replacement for the hydraulic press itself. After the press opens, the automatic pallet take-out robot uses a vacuum suction gripper to pick the finished pallet, move it away from the die area, and place it at the stacking position. One arm can serve two molded pallet hydraulic presses in an alternating workflow: it waits during pressing, unloads the completed press, stacks the pallet, and then switches to the other press.

Structure and image evidence for engineering review

The product evidence shows the handling architecture clearly. The AutoG gallery view shows a long articulated arm with a column base, cable chain, stack light, and multi-cup end effector. The gantry rendering shows a long-span travel structure, a vertical lift carriage, cable routing, and an array-style vacuum gripper. These images support the equipment layout and grasping concept; they do not establish a payload, reach, suction specification, cycle time, or positioning accuracy. Those values should be confirmed against the pallet, mold, press opening, and stacking pattern before final design.
