PRESSWOOD PALLET SAFETY | AUTOG
Customer scenario: a hot pallet at the press outlet
Automatic palletizing robot for pallet line: AutoG removes the operator from the press-side take-out task after a 1250–1600 ton molded wood pallet press opens. Using six-axis motion and a vacuum suction gripper, it transfers approximately 80°C pallets from the press to the stacking position and supports a fully automatic pallet production line.

Why manual take-out is the weak point
The legacy method depends on manual pallet take-out at each press. The operator enters or reaches into the press-side area, handles the hot pallet, and then performs secondary transfer and stacking. This combines crush and cut exposure if equipment moves unexpectedly with direct heat exposure. MDI adhesive used in hot pressing also creates a reason to reduce routine personnel presence around the process station. Waiting for cooling can add delay, while immediate removal leaves the operator handling the most demanding part of the cycle.
Why AutoG fits press-side pallet unloading
AutoG is designed as the automatic pallet take-out robot for molded wood pallet lines, not as the hydraulic press itself. Its six-axis articulated robot arm provides the up, down, left, right, forward, backward, and turning motions needed to enter the open mold area, grip the pallet, adjust its orientation, and transfer it to the stacking position. The vacuum suction end effector is matched to pallet take-out. One arm can work with two molded pallet hydraulic presses, alternating between them while each press completes its cycle. This dual-press tending arrangement makes AutoG a practical press tending robot for a fully automatic pallet production line.

Structure and evidence: from press to stacking
The AutoG gallery shows the visible structure: a white-and-orange industrial handling robot with a column base, extended articulated arm, cable chain, stack light, and multi-suction end effector. A factory image shows a robotic gantry arm with a vacuum suction array beside a hydraulic press and stacked panels, supporting the intended press-to-stack relationship. The documented application supports handling approximately 80°C pallets, automatic pallet transfer, and stacking. AutoG can replace the manual take-out role for two presses and help plants build a safer, more continuous workflow. Final load, reach, vacuum, interface, and cycle specifications should be confirmed against the plant layout before ordering.
- 1250–1600 ton molded wood pallet presses can release pallets at approximately 80°C, creating a hazardous manual take-out point.
- Manual take-out exposes operators to press movement, hot pallets, secondary handling, and MDI-process concerns.
- AutoG uses six-axis articulated motion and a vacuum suction gripper to transfer pallets from the open press to the stacking position.
- One AutoG arm can tend two presses and move people out of the danger zone without claiming unconfirmed load, reach, speed, precision, or capacity figures.
